James D. A. Terry
Author
Chasing the Wendigo

Chasing the Wendigo is a gripping comedic mystery/adventure anthology containing three short anecdotal accounts by Justin Case, of grand larceny; the search for lost treasure; kidnapping and unexplained disappearances. Jason and his intrepid fraternity of brothers from other mothers find themselves unwittingly up against a powerful malevolence they can’t explain yet refuse to back down from.

Reviews
Philip Stewart, Goodreads

I think it’s a pretty good story, more mystery than horror which suits me fine, and the main plots and most sub plots get quite satisfactorily tied together and concluded in the end but as the author has noted this is really a trilogy of three either long novellas or short novels and even though at first book 2 doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the story Book 3 sure ties it all together.
Now, as usual in any James Terry/Solomon Knight book, the names alone are worth the price of the book and there are so many great ones I can’t really pick a favourite but Whall and his brother Saul Ted Nutzenbier kind of stand out! Here’s a few samples of some of the better ones but you should just read the book if you really need a good laugh.
My name is Justin... Justin Case, termination agent
Oliver D. Map sailed from the mouth of the Aswego River to attack Fort Fromtheback, then held by Poupon De Grasse for France
And yes this wacky story does have a satisfactory and HEA ending at least for Justin and the good guys with the great names!
