When El discovers she’s actually from Asadore, and thus her connection to water finally makes sense, the real ride begins. This book swept me on a magic carpet ride. I didn’t know what was going to happen next or who would next add to the plot. There were so many characters, and while El is the protagonist, the other characters feel just as important. The plot was fast-moving and scintillating. This author, Robin Farella, has a gift for crafting a great story with a fantastic plot. The plot points rolled out just as I was ready for something new and then left me guessing about what was going to happen next. In short, I loved it!
Robin Farella has created such an amazingly unique book with Chronicles of Asadore. In most fantasy quests, the characters travel to one location and the setting itself is rather boring. In this book, the settings all held such a key role. The characters traveled to several unique and interesting locations in Asadore giving readers a chance to experience the entire place. Robin also inserted other unique elements such as food and time travel through tapestries that I haven’t seen in any other books. I love when an author has such original ideas! Any fantasy reader will love this book!

Chronicles Of Asadore is a fantasy adventure story about a young girl who, with the aid of her friends, discovers her true purpose in a world of magic. The storyline may sound somewhat similar to a lot of the fantasy epics out there but beyond that, everything else about Robin M.
Farella's novel is unique. The principal characters are an interesting bunch with their curious origin stories making their evolution from normal teens to heroes as natural as meeting the boy next door. This equally applies to their conversations as they sound casual yet tinged with mystery such that, if not for the presence of the beautifully crafted mythical creatures that populate this unique story, one could be forgiven for thinking they are reading a completely different genre.
The attention to detail is impressive with even the fights getting ample descriptions and I detected a hint of a romantic subplot gradually developing. Farella deserves plaudits for creating a unique and engaging fantasy novel everyone will enjoy reading.
