Daddy, My Hero is a story told from the point-of-view of a young girl whose father is in the Army. The dad is about to have to be deployed, again, and the girl is sad about missing him. However, she recognizes that he is an honorable man serving his country. She makes herself feel less sad by remembering the great times she and her brother and sister have had with their dad. This is a wonderful story to share with military families as well as with any child whose loved one may be away for long periods of time.
