First, I should say that I've worked separately for both Richard and his wife in my past years (long ago). They are two of the most ethical, genuinely good people with whom I have had the fortune of associating, to this day. That's not meant to color my review or show a bias, but to provide a demonstration of how Richard really does walk the walk he talks.

This is a terrific read, either in small bites or easily in one sitting. But if you read it in one sitting, you're going to want to go back to its lessons. Each chapter provides a compelling, modern adaptation and treatment of the lessons learned in Daniel. There are both frameworks for approaching ethical dilemmas and timeless principles to follow in making decisions.

Richard also provides resources for ethical leadership as well as modern case studies. I really appreciate that Richard doesn't shy away from the role of faith in ethical leadership while at the same time not being "preachy."

This is a terrific book for anyone, and for anyone on your gift list for the holidays. It's particularly valuable and timely for young people in school or early in their careers to help them realize doing the right thing need not be a decision between expediency and ethics.

I highly recommend this wonderful book.
