Dasha on the Trail is a hike through Southern California’s rugged landscape as seen from eyes and snout of a lighthearted pup, Dasha. She sniffs out animals on the trail like mischievous ravens and her leash-free cousins, the coyotes. She longs for freedom but knows a tame dog might not know all the tricks of this untamed world.

City of San Diego proclaims November 13, 2021 Dasha on the Trail Day
Ms. Bruck was honored with a proclamation from the City of San Diego naming November 13, 2021 Dasha on the Trail Day. Presented by San Diego City Councilmember Raul Campillo at the setting for the story Mission Trails Regional Park during the book launch. The proclamation proclaims, ""Dasha on the Trail will contribute to the growth of a new generation of readers, hikers, and environmental stewards,..."
