I really love this book! I work with Kindergarten students learning English and this book is perfect for them. The repetitive nature and the use of sight words makes it a wonderful learning resource. I am also very excited about the beautiful illustrations, the rich vocabulary, and the gentle reminder that everyone (even big people!) has something that makes them feel small.

“Do you see the giant?” is a richly illustrated picture book that parents will enjoy with their young readers. It ends with a question, how gianty are you today? With this question, the book despite a row of critters, starting with the first to the last, in order of smallest to biggest. I guess it’s all about perspective. As an uncle to younger readers, I can look back and imagine a conversation with my oldest niece about how gianty she is when compared to her younger sister.

Very nice book for kids under 7. The idea was very nice. It helps kids know about different animals living in the forest. With the illustrations, it makes it even more fun to read. The illustrations were very appealing. The cover designs and the layout was a 10/10. The book was very fun to read. I liked everything about the book.

This is a fun picture book for kids about identifying different sizes. Using the repetitive word "giant" each page asks the reader to identify the giant. This would be a great book to read to kids when they are learning about size and measurement in school. The repetitive writing would be especially helpful for English language learners because it would combine with the illustrations to give them a clear understanding of what the word "giant" means.

This book was so cute! I will definitely buy this book when it comes out. In this book it teaches children about size. For example on the page it will have a normal sized animal and a giant animal and the child can tell you which is bigger. The pictures are absolutely adorable!

This book is so sweet. I loved it. The little babies and toddlers would love this book. I can guarantee you will even love it! It's also an educational book also in my eyes. The kids can guess what the giant is and if it's wrong you can tell them what it is. I always look for something in the book that is educational for kid's and this is a great learning book.

This picture book is well put together and full if bright colors that are sure to keep the attention of a little one. Along the way, your baby will also get familiar with different animals and their name spellings. I recommend this to new parents who would like to teach their very young kids how to read.

The opening image of Do You See the Giant? is an ant that fills the pages, along with the caption, “Do you see the giant?” While the ant appears large, the following pages show that a bee is huge in comparison to the ant. As the story unfolds, the insects transition into amphibians, birds and animals, and the giants just keep getting larger and larger until they culminate in the behemoths of the Jurassic period, the dinosaurs.

A picture book intended for small children, Do You See the Giant? features simple but eye-catching, vivid images throughout. The text, which is short and repetitive, can be read to small children to help them learn the names of some insects and animals. Children that are just learning to read will also be able to use the simple words to practice pronunciation and reading. As the brightly colored illustrations and elementary words combine, even young ones that are easily distracted will be eager to follow along. Babies and toddlers can learn both the names and relative sizes of animals, and if they’re paying attention they’ll also notice visual references to a primary food source of each of the insects and animals featured.

Do You See the Giant? is a fun children’s book filled with vibrant and adorable illustrations. Perfect for the youngest of children, Lakshmanan’s endearing picture book is both educational and entertaining.

Do you See the Giant? is a colourful, brightly illustrated young children’s book that is an easy read and has been written to help children to learn. The text is repetitive and is written in large, easy to read font, plus the book features different animals from smallest to largest.

Whilst the book is quite basic, this is what little children need to help them start to learn, whether that is starting to learn about different animals (and insects) and their names, the sizes of different animals to one another, or for slightly older children, learning to read.

The book is very cute and completely adorable. I’m sure young children will love it and hopefully, it will keep them entertained and educated too.
