Don't Thank the Messenger: A True Telling of Divine Communications and Supernatural Encounters
JJ Jorgensen, author

Don’t Thank the Messenger is a factual testament of Christian faith and a message of hope for all that have loved ones in the hereafter.  How often does someone lose a loved one and suddenly a cardinal starts showing up at the window every day?  How about when lights flicker off and on, or a special song starts playing that reminds us of a lost loved one at just the right moment.  It’s no coincidence. Any medium can be used to convey love from the other side.  Since early childhood, I’ve experienced a wide range of paranormal phenomena.  It's true that me and my loved ones have on occasion faced off against terrifying entities, yet gratefully most of what we experienced was angelic, benign, and miraculous. During my life divine interventions have occurred under startling conditions, and irrefutable miracles were evident. Three times I visited what I believe is the afterlife – a place where loved ones greet us, and a message is shared for someone specific. The astonishing truth is that we have much to look forward to and hope for.  Mine is a sojourn of one man who has always had powerful faith.  This story carries a message to many and possibly a message intended just for you.  Read and share this testimony of how Light matters most and darkness is ultimately conquered

Reading the author’s real life experiences makes you believe and recognize that our own loved ones are around us. Honest and raw stories that make you feel so emotional towards this author, JJ Jorgensen. He makes the reader route for him as we learn along with him how to recognize the little things that can bring us peace. Furthermore, to know our loved ones are ok and waiting for us is important for anyone who has lost someone. I have learned so much about the author through his real life memories which brings me inner peace. I couldn’t put the book down because I wanted to read more about his experiences. Each chapter is it’s own gem and lesson learned. God is good and all things are possible in him.

Part paean to his New York City boyhood, part paranormal investigation, part spiritual quest, J. J. Jorgensen's memoir, "Don't Thank the Messenger" is a remarkable story full of synchronicities, amazing coincidences, and paranormal events. I'm reading Augusten Burroughs' memoir, "Toil & Trouble" about the witches in his family (himself included) right now, and I'd say that Mr. Jorgensen's book belongs on the same shelf in the bookstore. If you enjoy reading about the mystifying side of life - and maybe death - set against a coming of age story in the New York City of disco clubs and goodtime bars, you'll have fun hanging out with this author.
