Editing: It's Time for Corrections is Book 4 of the eight books in the Writing is a Process series. The main character in this story (along with her friends from the other books in this series) learns to use editing marks when looking over the rough draft of her story. The illustrations are familiar to young readers who have experienced the first three books in the series, although, as with each book in this series, readers will enjoy this book even if it is the only one they read. Included inside this story is a page illustrating and explaining the most common editing marks used by students.
