"Perception should never be interpreted as truth, but simply flirtatious fiction. Come hither." Is printed on the back of the hit novel, Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe by Matilda A. Juliette! I truly enjoyed this little book of short stories about a character that lives in a small mountain town in Colorado trying to find love. Instead she finds love for herself through her yoga.
Matilda writes so that you have to check back in... and I might add right away. I felt myself indulging in this book and could not wait to see what was going to happen with each of her encounters with her friends and her lovers!
Some of Matilda's friends became lovers that really brought her sadness that she had been unaware even existed. Some of her lovers just brought disappointments, but not one of those experiences were going to get the best of her - Matilda was in charge of own life and her emotions!
Matilda wins you over right away! How many people do you know who really want to take a deep look into their inner selves these days and see what is theirs to change? This character found herself through her passion for yoga and by committing herself to a practice that becomes her ultimate life teacher.
Matilda had a few encounters that are nothing short of pure erotica. Watch out for these encounters -they sweep you away. Sultry writing is for sure one perspective, and this writer leaves you with visual experiences as if you had been there, or perhaps having those experiences yourself!
Eeny, Meeny, Miney Moe is a book i toughly enjoyed reading. There were some small editing issues from time to time, but worth overlooking and it didn't keep me from reading. I had to look back to see what the genre was for this book because I felt like the author was really sharing her personal life experiences. Then I remembered that it was fiction!
Bottom line- Read this book for fun - follow the adventures of this yogi! The sequel is sure to be a read because Matilda sure can capture an audience. Can't wait!
