Evolution of a Killer: Compromised
Two years had passed since Lazarus carried out his mission of revenge on the Zapatos cartel in Northern Mexico. The event was carried on live television by Telemundo and CNN. The attacks drew the interest of both sides of the law, as well as enemies of the assassin known as the Chameleon – Lazarus Solaris. Lazarus led the raids in his persona as Cooper Johnson, a 6’-5” 250-pound North Texas born and bred redneck, Vietnam Vet and the disguise often used as a middleman for contracts. Lazarus had never revealed his identity or appearance in the thirty-two years which had passed since his first kill at the age of eighteen. The past was the past to Lazarus, he knew the risks of the raid and decided to live with them. One failed attempt on his life was made during the raid on the Zapato’s headquarters in the Sierra Madres Mountains. Lazarus relegated the risks to one of his many mental compartments, something his enemies didn’t. While working as a contractor with the CIA, Reynaldo Suarez, Interpol Section Chief from Spain, and a man with an axe to grind with The Chameleon, tries to undermine the operation with the help of a Peruvian Drug Lord. What the Interpol chief doesn't know is Alejandro de Cordoba, the Peruvian Drug Lord, has contracted the Chameleon to kill Suarez. What Cordoba doesn't know is he is being targeted for assassination by the CIA. Three men - all with murder in mind are caught in a revolving door, wondering 9if he has been compromised.
