In 2017 I found a father I never knew & 7 new siblings, though never adopted. This meeting was featured on national television & over a million people saw it (Google "87 year old Air Force vet reunites with son"). Finding him unlocked a storehouse of emotions & I wrote my memoir in two months, though two years of edits & rewrites followed. The book speaks to how I found him, how they received me, and largely about my preceding rather adventurous, tough life without a dad (sprinkled with faith elements). Quite simply, it is Forrest Gump meeting the Pursuit of Happyness.
