The first voice to speak is the spirit, addressing the source that subsequently responds, not however without the intervening of the spouse who speaks with two voices: I and we?such is the human situation, not one but two voices, singular and plural. God?s mantra, the poem, is thus a four-part dramatic song with a background of mantra music. The whole song has no finale. It is therefore circular, sounding like an antiphonal, extended, and endless mantra. Furthermore, I have been reliably informed that God?s mantra could successfully be choreographed. God?s Mantra, Steps to Paradise, A Circular Song is offered as a radio play.
