The Golden Cord Trilogy is a metaphysical, murder mystery, cast four decades into the future when it is estimated the Earth’s human population will surpass ten billion people. The plot is based upon a set of scientific assumptions that are uniquely rooted in the author’s experience as a biomedical research scientist and inventor with five patents issued in the fields of immunochemistry and dispersed network cryptography. It also relies on the author’s fifty-year study and practice of esoteric spiritual disciplines and an in-depth exploration of psychology, plus his military experience as a decorated US Marine Corps ASRaT Sergeant E-5 who served with the Marine Expeditionary Force that took the beachhead at Basecamp Chu Lai, Vietnam, June 2, 1965. The world, today, is largely driven by the Simian psychology forces of self-interest, avarice, corruption, and ethical bankruptcy. Major world governments have degraded into political oligarchies, or are in the advanced stages of becoming such. These oligarchies are ruled by a small number of ultra-wealthy puppet-masters. The author postulates this momentum will continue in the direction it is traveling until an outside force alters this trend, or the planet ultimately suffers a complete ecological melt¬down. The Golden Cord tells the story of how a small group of people, the League of Benefactors, rises up and fights the first decisive battle against the Big Four: Big Govern¬ment, Big Business, Big Religion, and Big Crime. Together, they are in league with a race of aliens who are supervising a project to mine complex human biomolecules and are manipulating world environmental factors to maximize their grim harvest.
