Ken Farmer has gone out on his own to write a sequel to the ever popular western saga of Bass Reeves called Hell Hole. He makes as good a solo writer as he does with his BEF cohorts. This is going to be a ride we won’t forget as he tries his writing talents as a “Lone Writer”.
“The three marshals had left their horses with the hostler at the wagon yard on the other side of the gallows. They had been called in to meet with Judge Parker. It was widely known that whenever Parker was particularly anxious to bring in an outlaw who was on the scout—he sent for Bass and his long-time partners.”

Bass Reeves, Jack McGann and Jed Neal lead a group of marshals and a Texas Ranger in a western quest for outlaws they have warrants on, issued by Judge Isaac Parker, judge of the U. S. Judicial District of Western Arkansas, known as the “Hanging Judge”. Their journey includes a fight with the weather, the rescue of two former Harvey girls who were kidnapped by one of the gangs, and the delivery of a baby girl that they name Sarah. The word pictures of Ken Farmer paint you into the days of the marshals and the outlaws they pursue as well as the hard living conditions shared by both.
Don’t miss this continuation of the Bass Reeves saga or your reading of western lore will have a big hole in it.
Ken Farmer served in the Marine Corps and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University.
