Herschel the church mouse Is the story of an adventurous young mouse who knew all about God? He knew about the garden, he knew about the prophets, the taking away and the coming back. Herschel knew about Jesus and the disciples, about the crucifixion and the resurrection. In fact Herschel, having a very sharp mind, knew pretty much everything about God, his devoted Mother having taught him and his brothers and sisters well. The trouble was that Herschel only knew about God, he didn’t really know Him until he was forced to face his own personal crisis of faith.
