Hiba And The Treasure Jar

Choosing what is important and what is not is a challenge. Choices affect lives and feelings.

Hiba, an eight-year-old girl, wants to fill her glass jar with treasure. Her wise grandmother tells her what a true treasure is, but Hiba does not pay much attention.

Hiba goes outside; to the farmyard and starts her adventure searching for anything that appeals to her. She sees a squirrel and steals his nuts. Then she meets with a pirate parrot who tells her were his friends the pirates left their treasure chest. As Hiba becomes focused on finding an exciting treasure, she starts to experience anxiety, sadness, and fear. Hiba could not sleep at night, overwhelmed with all the negative emotions she gathered during her treasure hunt. The cracked glass jar beside her bed is full of rotten and scary stuff. She decides to get rid of it.

The following day her grandma finds the jar and sees what Hiba has collected. She explains to Hiba why she is not feeling right, advices her to go outside to give back what is stolen, and correct everything wrong she has done. As Hiba does that, her jar gets fixed, and she is happy again.
