"I'm a Hellion."  With those words, Lucian turns Ela's world upside down and what started out as an impossible romance becomes a whirlwind chance to change the world.  Ela, a bookstore owner who has raised her autistic brother since their parents abandoned them nearly fourteen years ago, finds herself embroiled with Lucian, an upper level demon who has, after millennia, finally had a crisis of conscience. As the two of them work together alongside four archangels to save their town and, by extension, the human race, they show the true meanings of grace, faith, and, ultimately, the forgiveness that only true love can give.  Akin to books like This Present Darkness, The Mortal Instruments series, and The Second Messiah, Hosts and Hellions is a trilogy that is part religious fantasy/part romance while giving an allegorical and very human face to the Great Love Story shared between humanity and God.
