From a small town to a small college; from the Big Ten to the big city; this is the story of Mark Neary. A tail ender of the baby boom generation, he stumbles through a life and world beyond his dreams, expectations, and understanding. While living around the world, or at least in every state in the Midwest which starts with an "I", he gathers stories great and small which all add up to a life full of joy, heartache, and all the other emotions that make us human.
