My eight-year old daughter loved this book. She loves learning about different kids and cultures and especially loves hearing directly from kids. Each country is discussed by a child from that country. She learned how we are all very similar, despite how far apart we may be. She asked if we could go to Oregon since it's in the United States and she wants to learn more about ghost towns. We look forward to the next book and learning about more kids and the countries that they live in.

We are more the same than we are different! That's the message nicely relayed in this creative, relevant book. Well-researched and entertaining, Book Three of I Am Proud of Who I Am, shares delightful facts about numerous cultures across the globe. An easy page-turner, and part of a larger set. Educational fun!

This is an amazing concept for a book series and I absolutely loved it. I learned a lot just reading this short volume number 3. I think this series should be in every school library and should be required reading for all middle school students. What a wonderful way to learn about the differences and the similarities of so

With individual young people telling often little-known facts about their country and sharing something personal about themselves, this book connects kids from all types of backgrounds. They can see what they have in common. The illustrations are especially nice and will appeal to the middle school reader. Nice idea well done.
