Title: Island Game of Modern Life Sub Title: A Game: You should play before you die! Do you know what happens after death? Yamraj gives one last chance to become alive again provided the dead person wins the game of Yamlok: Island Game of Modern Life. Grandfather (Siddhant Verma) tells to the writer, who comes to meet him after sixteen years from Australia to India. The writer laughs first but believes him when his grandfather precisely explains what had happened to him when he died in a road accident at the age of twenty four. Sukesh, Sanchita, Kapil and Siddhant die in a road accident. They go to Yamlok and meet Yamraj in an exit hall. Before entering to hell or heaven, Yamraj offers them one last wish to make and they desire to be alive again. The problem was, Yamraj could select only one of them and then he offers them playing the game of Yamlok: Island Game of Modern Life. The game is based on the philosophies of modern life which has one central island surrounded by four islands (Money, Love, Identity and Recognition). Every island has three treasure-huts, one illusion hut, one ladder and one key. Central Island, from where the game begins with a bubble coming out of the centre. Every player has to tell story of their past life and accordingly the bubble travels from one island to another. There is a pearl hidden somewhere in the game and the goal for the bubble is to find that pearl. In the middle of the game, Siddhant refuses playing. To him all the rules of the game look nonsense. Yamraj throws him out. The only option Siddhant could meet Yamraj, if he finds the way by himself. During this journey he discovers the clues for the hidden pearl in the game. By the time he meets Yamraj at the same place, Sukesh, Sanchita and Kapil had finished playing. Yamraj smiles and offers him to play the game but Siddhant makes everyone astonished by saying that the pearl is hidden nowhere in the game. Where is the pearl hidden? Before the suspense is revealed, grandfather’s health become serious and doctor admits him in ICU. The writer goes to his childhood village to know the answer. At the end, the suspense comes out in a very dramatic way.
