Last Stop Until Milestone by Golden November is a satirical, funny book with the main characters having conversations with each other as they enact various scenarios that affect their lives and the lives of those around them. If anyone has ever 'people-watched' in a busy shopping center, restaurant, or even at the airport, there are lots of times you may have wished you could eavesdrop on their conversations. Golden November has done this with delightful humor.

The story takes place in the current times and the characters are believable and very much everyday people one could meet in the supermarket or even have grown up with. The main characters are Bridget – Bridgette - daughter and mother, Chatsworth, (Click Clack) Dorris, Penny, Fred, Stu, Amy, Lisa, Heather, Rodney, Pamela, Beth, Grant, Jenny, Paul and don’t forget the lady that holds all the cards, Flower Rose and her brother Dr. Yes, also known as June.
Last Stop Until Milestone takes the reader on a hilarious journey through the main characters' lives as well as others that appear from time to time in the book. It forms a play within a play and is compulsive reading as you want to know what the outcome is. The twist in the tail at the end makes the reader realize it is definitely a read from cover to cover. Thank you, Golden November, for this lovely light-hearted book. I enjoyed the fact that all the plotlines throughout the book come together at the end.

Last Stop until Milestoneville by Golden November is one of several live-action novels in the Milestoneville Book Series. November's books move pretty swiftly from plot to plot and this installment is no different; the action carries on full speed ahead for the story's entirety. Last Stop takes us from the titular sign to acting, music, and a lucrative career in pens. There's hilarious golfing, a business swindle that definitely pays more than pens, skydiving, and the always entertaining shenanigans of the world's craziest tour company. Weather and characters collide as a book hunt of supreme high value ensues, and Click-Clack is once again forced to repeat his name: “Click-Clack-Click-Clack-Click-Clack-Click-Clack.”

Last Stop until Milestoneville by Golden November is as hilarious as readers have come to expect from this uniquely talented author and their brand of storytelling. November's live-action structure is intended to be read in precisely this way. One does not just read through the book itself, although in the interests of full disclosure I had to this time around, but will remedy that at the first opportunity. My family and friends would be cross with me if they found out I had a date with Milestoneville without them. Instead, two or preferably more readers run through the dialogue-only script as if they are acting. Full-color photographs are provided in lieu of spacial descriptions and this makes the reading process streamlined. The humor is absolutely on point and the writing gives us a a peek into the author's deadpan comedy chops. This is another brilliant addition to the Milsestoneville series.

Last Stop Until Milestoneville is the third book in the Milestoneville Book Series by Golden November. Have you ever wondered how each of the Milestoneville characters met? This book answers that question for you. Best described as a prequel to the Milestoneville series, Golden November shares how our favorite characters became who they are. We get to see how JBT and G met and started their now-iconic rare book-hunting business. We also witness Bridget audition for Click Clack’s Channel 1994. We also meet Flower Rose as she comes to terms with her mother’s new boyfriend, while we also get up close with Jillian as she finishes one undercover assignment after the other without letting anyone know.

After reading about a dozen Golden November novels, I have concluded that the author writes the most powerful female characters. I could tell each character was crafted carefully; there is something about the female characters that just makes them stand out. Each of them portrayed a powerful side of female strength. Flower Rose was more emotional than the bunch; Bridget was thirsty for success, whereas Jillian was striving for perfection (and nailing it) without letting the world know how brilliant she was. As always, the fast pace and the expressive dialogues were the highlights of the story. I loved to know G, and JBT synched from the first moment they met. The twists in the story were intense and fun. Try as I might, I was never able to guess what would happen next. Golden November truly is a master of the craft.

Last Stop Until Milestoneville: Milestoneville Book Series by Golden November is an act-it-out novel meant for multiple readers to participate in as it revolves around the fictional cast of characters that the author has revisited in multiple spin-off books. Each story is an episodic compilation of several interweaving plots involving small clusters of familiar characters from Milestoneville, with several ancillary, transient characters that come and go but set the tone for others. For example, a scene in this installment includes a skydiving instructor who is impossible to understand, but every reader will want to play his part. The book takes us from the late 50s to a 1994 music awards show, from burgers and rifles to shark diving, and from one hilarious line to the next, complete with photo prompts and an embarrassing fat story from the 70s.

It feels so good to be back with the gang! Last Stop Until Milestoneville by Golden November is clever and funny, with unexpected twists and some shenanigans. What I like most about November's works is that they are witty, and this book does not require the same bribing techniques the mining heir Miles dishes out. The time hops could be a tiny bit confusing but the photography, in full, glossy color, helps with that. Each time jump is prefaced at the beginning of the scene but when a large group is screaming, laughing, and enjoying every second of November's work, it can be difficult to keep the years straight. Once more, this is a brilliant bit of creative comedy and it made for another ridiculously fun Saturday night.

Rare book store owner Flower Rose's mother has a new boyfriend much younger than her, something she has a hard time digesting. Author Golden November uses several different plot threads and merges them together to create a unique narrative that is unpredictable yet surprisingly engaging to read. Last Stop Until Milestoneville feels like a sort of introduction to the world of Milestoneville and its vibrant characters. The plot moves at a blistering pace, taking unexpected twists and turns you never see coming. G and JBT hit the ground running, and their banter and quick back and forth make their scenes some of the most entertaining of the entire plethora of characters. Filled with action, humor, and plenty of charm, Last Stop Until Milestoneville is a stellar installment that further fleshes out the world of Milestoneville. Recommended to fans of Golden November.
