Seeing no other option, Click Clack reveals G's and JBT's part-ownership in the old abandoned mine containing gold. But Rodney, the actor, misses the first day of the shoot. Can they produce a successful show?

Life of The Impersonators: Conversations is the second book in the Life of The Impersonators Collector's Series by Golden November. The adventures of G and JBT continue as they decide to say adieu to their business as book hunters and start a new journey. Deciding to join Channel 1994 in beloved Milestoneville, the iconic duo decide to act in a show called Book Hunters, based on their real adventures. While G and JBT look forward to acting, Bridget isn’t very happy with the idea and wants them to stop. To make matters worse, she believes G is only doing so to replace Asterick as the President of the channel. And that is not the only hurdle in the way of the show the duo is hoping to produce. Before they know it, things become even more complicated with the show, and they have to figure out a way to make Book Hunters successful.
The perfect Golden November novel that brings a fantastic slice from the lives of G and JBT. I adore the banter and light hazing between JBT and G; they are just as fantastic as they were in the last novel I read. In true November fashion, we have a whole team of new characters, and each of them is colorful enough to keep your attention focused on the witty story. Bridget is a hard hitter; she doesn’t beat around the bush and gets the job done. I love how JBT and G had their work cut out for them, and they really had to work hard to make Book Hunters a success. As always, the dialogues are crisp, the narrative is fast, the humor is dry (but hilarious), and all the characters are memorable!

This decision comes at such an opportune time, as Click Clack, the owner of Channel 1994, wants to make a television series. G doesn’t care about fame; he is simply enamored by the art of acting. Their TV series is called The Book Hunters, a welcome addition to the channel’s staple of talk shows, dramas, and reality shows, and it could well earn JBT or G the award for Best Channel 1994 actor.
If you are new to this series, it is important to note that Golden November uses a unique narrative, a style conveyed in a dialogue-driven plot complemented by photographs that represent scenes taking place. Yes, November has their own storytelling style—simple dialogues that run the whole gamut of the plot but don’t compromise the story arc. November’s simple refinement of this particular storytelling has that free-flowing feel. He does his own thing, which in terms of story writing may well be considered as deviating from the norm. At 361 pages, it’s an easy read. The dialogues make no attempts at pretentiousness and take the liberty of self-censorship as evidenced by the characters blurting out the word 'duck' as a substitute for the F-word. Although the highlight of Conversations is the interaction among characters, it is still packed with incidents suggesting that Milestoneville is a place subject to tensions reflected in what its residents think, say, and do. This story is a confection of sorts that examines the absurd stuff of humanity; dazzling to the point that leaves no room for disbelief.
