Mystery editor Taylor Browning is dispatched to Sedona, Arizona to collect the manuscript from a recalcitrant author Crystal Visions, a dead ringer for former deceased author Dominque Boucher. When she arrives in Sedona she discovers strange ceremonies and odd obsessions. While she tries to amuse herself while waiting on Crystal to come through, danger lurks in the nooks and crannies of the southwest.
