I think I might have a slight addiction to Andrea Smith's G-men. Okay I know I do! But how could I not? She has created some totally hot drool worthy pretty perfect men here! I think my favorite is Taz....who this book was about. I'm not sure though. Slate still holds a piece of my heart. This series just keeps getting better. Even though it can be read as a stand alone ... it leaves things open for the story to grow which I LOVE! I can't get enough of these characters. I'm thinking I've found a new favorite author and series to add to my collection. :)

WOW, I did not realize how steamy this book would be!
This is the second book in the G - Man series and the first that I have read by this author. I was pleasantly surprised.
It focuses on the relationship between Lindsey and Trace or Taz.
Lindsey is a beautiful college student still dealing with the circumstances from her past and the fact that her dad is out there on the run.
Trace or Taz as we know him is an FBI agent and a hot and sexy one at that. He's much more mature than our girl Lindsey in age. He is a player who doesn't believe in relationships unless they are casual , quick and easy.
Now how do these two total opposites end up together? In a very EXPLOSIVE way! You will literally feel the heat coming off the pages and burning you along with the characters. The fun part is reading all about it in this sexy and extremely hot book.
Lindsey and Taz's relationship grows into a sexual one in which she gets the taste of love as well as he but it is filled with angst and amazingly written twists and turns.
This book does have a dark side in some parts that made me uncomfortable and can be so to you the reader. So proceed with caution. However it was tastefully written but left you feeling heart broken.
It is part of the G-MAN Series and will leave you with unanswered questions but I very much enjoyed reading it and it seems all the books carry over the characters with them so we will get to see where they are.
A raw and gritty, sexy, hot and angst filled book, one you will enjoy and also may cringe at but worth the read.
I absolutely, 100% loved this book! Honestly, I thought that Diamond Girl was great, but Love Plus One completely blew it out of the water for me! In this book, we follow Lindsey (daughter of Sammie "Diamond Girl") and Taz, super alpha FBI Agent, through the ups and downs of their new relationship and we also revisit the issues with her father that were introduced in Diamond Girl. The plot was great in this book and kept me turning page after page, enough so that I finished the book in one sitting last night! The sex was hot - I loved the dirty talk and how it all started as part of a "tutorial" for the innocent Lindsey. You could tell from the first time that this would turn into something more, the connection between them was too strong. "So," I started, my stomach in knots from my nerves, "what's on the agenda, Taz?" "We're going to my place," he replied very matter-of-factly. "We're going to f**k." Seriously? Yes please! I was completely hooked from this quote on and entranced with his hot alpha persona. However, that wasn't all there was to him. He was sweet and attentive to Lindsey and fought for her when she needed him the most - he even put his career on the line to save her. Everything he did came out of love for her, which was refreshing to read, especially since he was initially so opposed to relationships. I highly recommend this book/series, especially if you love romance with a little bit of a twist. A great read - I cannot wait for the last book in the series! Well done, Andrea...love your writing!
