Joe looks into the only mirror he can still find, which unknown to him, is a portal to a parallel universe, and The Mirror World. He lives in a dystopian time, not far in the future, where implants stream the internet straight into people’s minds, imprisoning them in a web of lies and propaganda. In the Mirror World he meets the sage Koanji, and Li Nan, the wise woman of the mountain. He embarks on a spiritual journey of enlightenment, and learns the superpowers which he will need for his quest to free his own world.
