My grief Jar is the story of raising a daughter with so much promise but also so much pain, of spending every waking minute trying to figure out what was wrong and help her get better, of my guilt at the way my daughter died, and of what I did to save myself after Kelsey's death--most prominently, realizing Kelsey's dream to make the puppy I had bought for her (to try to improve her will to live and quality of life) a therapy dog.
