My Reflections on Ho'oponopono
Mabel Katz, author

Adult; Self-Help, Sex & Relationships, Psychology, Philosophy, Fashion; (Market)

This book has been created from a selection of many articles Mabel Katz has written over the years, which have been given discursive coherence. They are based on her practicing and teaching of Ho'oponopono, and experiences accumulated during almost twelve years spent with her mentor, Dr. Ihaleakalá Hew Len and her own life experiences: first as a mother, accountant, business consultant and tax specialist in the United States, and then as an author, lecturer, peace ambassador, and seminar leader throughout the world. In this book, Mabel shares her experiences through practical stories and topics that concern and affect us all. In addition to the variety of topics, such as relationships, money, death, diet, depression, peace and children, the book offers an explanation of the core concepts of Ho oponopono. It reminds us that only we can change our lives. My reflections on Ho'oponopono by Mabel Katz, will change your perspective about how you deal with the challenges and threats of life. You learn to react less, become more aware and alert; therefore, you will be happier and more at peace.

I began with watching the YouTube video series by Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len, Ph.D , then I followed up with this book. I don't feel any need to read more. The practice is straightforward to me now. I listened to as many YouTube videos as possible and chased it down with this book. Since the Youtube videos are free and I read this book with Kindle Unlimited, I haven't spend a dime. Yet the practice is priceless and extremely effective. I was able to forevermore put down all my religious book reading. The way that I see it now, all reading is just more thoughts, and the more reading done, the more potential for confusion. And reading is time spent in your head and not time spent in the here and now. Not that I'm against it but I've already read so much that all I see is the same now. If you just want to have the best life possible, then do the work. The work in Ho'oponopono is the cleaning. You clean on your inner discord, no matter where or how it happened, even everything that bothers you outside of yourself. take responsibility and heal your self. You never get to a perfect state that Hew and Joe describe as Zero, but you and get close and you do improve your life and that of others by doing the work. Forgiveness and love are keys. "Treat" your inner child, treat all the stuff that bothers you, treat with forgiveness and love, inside or internally to yourself. Things will get better. I've personally seen miracles. I know I'm talking Ho'oponopono practice but that's what the book and Mabel Katz are all about. I know what to do now. And it doesn't conflict with any previous religions, in my opinion. It just simplifies and clarifies. Believe that the Universe or God is inside of you and your thoughts and feelings affect it all. Take it as far as you can. Think that there is only you and work only on you. From there treat your concerns and issues, like your wounded child. Forgive, and comfort him/her with love. When I did the practice sincerely against some of my most formidable issues, I saw people changing. The difference is Inspiration vs Affirmation. Get still inside and be inspired to be and do the right things. Best of luck with the practice. Yes the book is worth a read.
