Assessment:
In Toronto, Lily, a fashion magazine assistant with body issues, and Willow, a child of a wealthy family trying to strike out on her own, work at Jagged Edge, a publication owned by billionaire venture capitalist Ryder, whose past is intertwined b Lily's. A complex plot is spun from these three, involving mental disorder, child abuse, and passion. But the story seems disconnected from its characters, the narrator telling rather than showing at intimate moments and engaging in long digressions. The prose also needs significant polishing. The characters are, however, quite likable.

Super sexy and hot! Great twists!
One of the better non-BDSM reads out now! Way better than Fifty Shades is! Fun since I live in the city it takes place in (Toronto) so I know all the places. Amazing detail and scenery. The sex scenes are incredibly hot and steamy, but also romantic. I love the imagery! Ryder and Lily are both so incredibly flawed and yet innately so human and realistic. Their story together is one that you'll cheer for, wanting them to overcome their obstacles. Very strong In terms of contemporary appeal and time-critical awareness of a variety of mental health issues that affect women worldwide. Absolutely phenomenal writing! NEEDS TO BE A MOVIE!!
