n a previous book (the "Freak-God", also available on Amazon-kindle), Kornis has developed a truly amazing theological fantasy world, in which on a planet three groups of humans compete, each supported by a different supernatural being (or GOD). The book also highlighted the conflict between the rationalists (supported by a Science and Art loving God) and the religious fanatics (supported by the Gods who get their power from people worship). The "New Gods" book, is a prequel (but it can be read independently), which illuminates many mysteries about the planet and the origin of the people living there. It is also an excellent read on its own (both funny and exciting), telling the story of the earth colonists who ended up populating the Frick-God planet. Many great Sci. Fi ideas (a gravity-mistery), funny and a good plot. I warmly recommend.
