When Noodles (a penguin) and his best friend Albie (a fish) overhear world famous penguin scientists Jon & Ken talking on the Antarctic ice about Coney Island and making it back to Brooklyn in time for the Mermaid Parade, they want to join in the fun. After Jon & Ken agree to bring them along their journey north is filled with meeting new fun penguins, making friends, having adventures and learning about the world, culminating in their participating in the actual Mermaid Parade.
