Kira is a young glamorous famous chic living in Los Angeles. She has everything in life most people could only wish for, but starts to search for more meaning to life outside of fame and wealth. Her family is famous and wealthy but this no longer has an appeal for her. Nor does it give her satisfaction of true happiness, so she started her own jewelry and fashion accessories store, going out on her own to find her own identity. Kira is torn by being in love with her best male friend BJ, who is engaged to someone else. She fights the attraction and then finally realizes that her attraction to him was only there because she is connected him for another reason entirely. Throughout the story Kira has dreams at night that depict her happenings, including meeting the true love of her life there.
