The love the author has for his son is inspiring.
This is an excellent book. Through letters to his son, the author shares the essence of being a father with both the ups and downs. Come for the beautiful display of one father's love for his son, stay for the author's interesting take on things such as Goldilocks and the green sea turtle, and leave with some fresh thoughts and ideas that you might apply to be a father yourself.
To write letters is work in itself but to express love and advice is another thing. Not many persons express such warm and heartfelt observations as the father does in this book. The advice can come in many styles but this book is very touching and caring for a young man to read it from his loving father. So much tender guidance is expressed throughout the book. This is especially a good read for parents.
Excellent book. I personally know Mr. Turner (for over 20 years), so reading this book means more to me because it truly reflects the love and the beautiful relationship he has with his son. In addition, this book made me reflect on the personal advice I received from the author over the years.

Raising Supaman is a great read for any parent who is eager to invest in the life of their child/children. Just imagine all the fun times and memories you share with your children during their "growing years." The author shares his own experience raising his son and pouring into his future through writing letters of affirmation. As parents, we are always prepared to tell our children what not to do, but most importantly we oftentimes forget to tell them what to do. Not talking about chores around the house, but how to actually prepare them for life by teaching them the principles of making good decisions. Well, this book offers that insight in a practical, fun, yet powerful way. My husband and I met the author of this book in person and found that he is not only a great author but a great motivational speaker loaded with practical insight and wisdom. It is often said it takes a village to raise a child - especially in these trying times. Raising Supaman is a must-have for parents we need all the help we can get. Besides, our children are our prized possession and investment. Pick up a copy you will not regret it!!!
I have to say that I really enjoyed Raising Supaman, and I have been following Nathaniel's blog for a while now. His writing skills are excellent - clear, concise, and easy to read. Raising Supaman is an excellent addition to any dad's library, and will bring a fresh perspective into this role we as fathers have in raising responsible, prepared, and successful children.
