Having read True Crime since the beginning of the 80s and with over 3000 True Crime books in my shelves...I was like..hmmm True Crime Quickie....why bother...But I was really impressed about the authors detailed accounts of Jack Unterweger and his crimes, it is impressive to get so much information without having to go through several hundred pages. I have read all and anything on Jack Unterweger in both English & German, but here I get it all served on a silver plate.
Also the Gilgo Beach Murders is very detailed and very well written. I cannot wait for the case to be solved and have Kim Cresswell write the final chapter. Looking forward to more from this author.

I am not generally a fan of short stories. I read full length books because I want all of the details. This book changed my mind. It is amazing how much information Kim Cresswell was able to fit into these pages. It is obvious that this book is well researched, very detailed, without repetition and filler fluff to up the word count. I also love the photos, being able to see faces and items that you are reading about brings the story to life. We never fully outgrow picture books. :) Upon finishing this book my biggest goal is to find other true crime written by this author.

I don't usually READ True Crime books. I usually watch these on TV. These stories are riveting. I literally couldn't put this down. These stories were hard hitting, and well written! If you are a fan of true crime, read this! You won't be disappointed!
