ABSOLUTELY UNAPOLOGETIC AND UNCENSORED - RAW || NEW YORK CITY, NY
This is a very different read. The way this story is written and formatted with rawness and straightforward writing and storytelling left me with so much to take away from. There's this charm in it that gives a feeling as if the story is being told to you directly versus just reading a story.As a person who also grew up in South Queens & Brooklyn portion of NYC, I couldn't help but absorb and relate with the author. Life is harsh, but this story and one's like it are a nice reminder there's more to life than your situation.I highly recommend this book whether you're from the hood, the suburbs, or anywhere in between.
