This work of fiction, loosely based on a real-life story, is about Georgie, a post WW2 baby, born in Cumberland to a single mother. From the age of three, Georgie dreamed of becoming a dancer. Throughout a childhood punctuated with abuse, neglect and rejection, her dream often defined her decisions, sometimes leading her into deeper trouble. She ran away to London and experienced homelessness and forced prostitution. When her life was in pieces, God intervened to rescue her and then use her childhood dream in a miraculous way to save her. This is Georgie’s story.
