ALL IS NOT WELL IN THE WINE WORLD
Dan Keane was the hip, up-and-coming sommelier at a trendy San Francisco eatery—until cancer grabbed him, hard and fast, and changed things forever.
Now his days consist of peanut butter and jelly, a part-time nightwatchman gig, and rounding-up enough weed to offset the ravages of chemo on his very battered body.
When a friend’s custom winery is broken into, then vandalized and used for a shooting gallery, all while Dan is on duty, law enforcement fingers him as a prime suspect.
He might also be involved in a spate of wine cellar break-ins around the country. To prove his innocence, Dan agrees to go undercover for the FBI and set a trap for the suspected ringleader. Murder, however, changes all.
Though things for Dan—and the FBI—go from bad to worse, Dan’s convinced he can solve the crimes and find the real culprits—if only a wine-swilling Russian killer or the junkyard-beast cancer doesn’t take him down first.
