'A Hidden Gem - So beautiful yet so unknown!!' A song that has been created will end; a life that has begun will end. There is nothing eternal in our daily experiences: we are born, we live, we have fleeting moments of something from the beyond and eventually, one day our body, as we have come to know it, perishes. Should there be nothing beyond what I call "my life", there remains nothing to search for. But I am restless, I am not at peace with myself, I am constantly searching for THAT which is beyond me. That search cannot be a search based on logic and science, not it is illogical or unscientific. Something in between logic and illogic is a-logic! And that is eternal. Jayita has done an amazing job of expressing through words that which is beyond words. Through her own personal experiences of joy and grief, pleasures and pains, logic and illogic - she has discovered a world that is within this world and yet not of it. Starting with the "The Breaking Dawn", where she paints a picture of the "light of heaven" and of "grief melted, the light kindled", Jayita has poured her own heart and soul in each of these exquisite poems. Poems like "Sea of Soul" and "Eternal Bond" are deep and serious, and others like "The Dancing Dewdrops", "Dancing Waves of Truth" and "Sweet Wandering" are deceptively simple yet utterly transformational. Finally, Jayita concludes in the 36th poem with a very simple answer to the eternal quest of that existential question "Who am I?" - and that is "Being Nothing, I am Everything".
I highly recommend this book to anyone who has love in their hearts (which is everyone), who has a desire to explore the life beyond life (which is everyone), who needs simple words that bring peace, joy and relief to them (which is everyone). I, for one, has celebrated with every word in this book - for every word has been chiseled with the heart and soul of the author. Thank you Jayita for making this immense contribution to the world of poetry.'
