They say that stars are as countless as the stretch of time. When you look up at the vast stretch of onyx drenched skies and to the twinkling lights that shine ever gently down upon us, do you wonder if ... maybe ... somewhere, out there, there might be someone looking down at you just as you look at those noble stars? Meet Domenic Alderman, a pretty standard student and lover of occasionally lifting weights when he's not playing video games with his buddies or plowing through a quick burger after school. Average. Normal. These are characteristics that he'd use to sum up himself without a second thought. Or, at least, he used to. It all changed after winter vacation. It was a week before Domenic's 18th birthday and nothing out of the ordinary really happened. He returned to school and there was this new girl that had transferred there. She was of mesmerizing. Especially when she ... wait, she glows? One thing bleeds into another as strange visions and creepy dreams begin to make Domenic think he is losing his mind. Quickly, his once normal world falls apart as he goes through unusual changes. If being able to run faster than the normal track student, being able to lift weights like they were pillows, and having the whole world look like a massive freeze frame weren't odd enough, accidentally turning a potential girlfriend into a sword while trying to fight off shadow demons might put a kink into Domenic's graduating plans.
