Everyone has a day job, even amnesiac mad scientists. Sid Singleton kills zombies. Sid arrives at another of his employers many secluded laboratories with almost enough time to retrieve the research and lead scientists before a nearby volcano spews lava and zombies over everyone involved. He has a hunting knife, a rescue beacon, and a strange feeling that Silvercrest's zombie virus has mutated into something far worse than anyone ever imagined. This stand alone story takes place prior to the events of Book One of the Silvercrest Experiment series.
