As a writer myself, I know how hard it is to develop a plot and surround it with interesting, believable characters. In Strike Point, the author has done a masterful job of weaving several plots internationally to develop a page-turner novel that kept my interest to the end. This novel, in my opinion, would make an excellent thriller type movie but sadly, Hollywood is developing less than blockbuster films. This novel brings a family man out of retirement to take on the present Russian government, now lead by a Stalinist and Cold War advocate. Not only does the protagonist have to that this person on, but he is also being hunted himself by a person known as the wolf. If you love reading a believable fast-paced novel, here you go. I highly recommend it.
Suspenseful many twists and turns. Author keeps you riveted from beginning to end. Great compliment to the first book but stands alone well too. Good job John.
