This was a GREAT JOY TO READ!

As a published author myself let me say what the average readers may not even recognize may influence some of their book choices - your title and your cover presentation really matters. Now, having said that, let me share that what caught my eye was "CEDAR POINT" in the title, as I am a Michigan (Detroit southern suburb) Resident and Ohio (Sandusky Ohio to be precise, about 2 hours drive) there is a great (if you love Roller-coasters) Amusement Park by that name, so I know Sandusky Bay (the location herein, and the surrounding area that has grown exponentially over the last several decades) well. Next, I noticed Angel (author of the "Jackson MacKenzie Chronicles" series that I love) is involved. That was enough to get me to look deeper and I'm glad I did. Lastly, I still have such fond memories myself of my later teen years and young adulthood spending time at Grandview Lodge on Sparrow Lake near Orillia Ontario Canada, and the great laid-back rustic relief from City life and that great lake for some many activities.

This book was not only great fun to read, but for someone from the MidWest like so many countless people that visit the Sandusky area a year (or, at least, a couple of times a decade when the new coasters have established) it gave me a wonderful opportunity to learn somethings about a place I've loved since childhood myself. As for you, you may not care about, nor do you need to, about the area history, but even if not initially I believe you'll come to appreciate it's inclusion as such an impressive examples of scenery/location setup/delivery that helps set mood also (which, as a published author myself, I appreciate from the "technical aspects of writing" perspective over purely the story itself and delivery).

"Summer at Cedar Point" is billed as Young Adult, and I indeed (despite my belief as an Adult you can/will love this book too, especially if you've ever been to Sandusky Bay OH area) a fantastic book for teens to read. And, frankly, I think Cedar Point should be having daily book giveaway contests for copies of this book!! (And, a secret, it is in-part why I mention HELL MICHIGAN in my book, 1st because it does have a direct correlation to the storyline and ways to link to other aspects of the story and 2nd it is a great joy for authors to bring places they love to Life in others minds while they read.
