The descriptive writing style and character development are simply ingenious. From the very start, I knew I was in for a historical romance treat and Mariel Grey did not disappoint. Surrender of Trust is by far one of the best novels I have read in the genre.

Awesome!! A fantastically written historical romance. I love the authors use of period appropriate slang words and phrases! The female characters in this story are much more believable than in a great many other historical romances. Not that I don’t enjoy a completely inappropriate woman as the heroine, but the truth is, these women are playing by some strict rules and still managing to get into trouble!!
As an independent reviewer for Romance Authors that Rock, this writer and her heroines get a full five hearts!! A few tastefully written heated passionate moments make it appropriate for young adults as well.
