Every coin has two sides and sometimes death turns out to be a gift from heaven. The terrible events of Kate's childhood have left an indelible mark on her soul and made her hate everything associated with faith. After escaping as a teenager from a pseudo-religious sect called “the house of the Lord”, now in her thirties, Kate is uncompromising. Everything changes when her roommate, with whom she’s hopelessly in love, suddenly disappears leaving no traces of her existence.
