WOW!!!! I couldn't stop reading!!! So exciting! The depth of the characters were built so quickly. I cared about them & was anxious to see what they were going to do next. I admit, I was biting my nails & was thoroughly enjoying doing so.
This is the second Grant Boshoff book I've read & I LOVE his style!! Can't wait for his next!!!
I always love when I start a book and then find myself so engrossed that I lose track of time. The direction it takes in the courtroom will truly you make you stop and think. And the ending will make you smile. Well written, intersting plot-line, and all around enjoyable read.

This is an intense page turner of a book that actually made me miss my [bus] stop. But I didn't care, because I got to read a little more before finally getting off.
Boshoff writes in a style that you can almost taste, almost smell the characters and their deepest, most hidden thoughts. I thoroughly recommend a read.
Mr. Boshoff puts his best feet forward with intricacies of plot and story. He takes the time to weave you through the his tale. From the very first word I felt involved in the story, not just as a reader but as an actual participant. I am not going to talk about the story because the best thing to do is read it for yourself.
A courtroom drama is carried along characters you care about, intelligent action and a story you can't quite work out for yourself. The Copy has an abundance of well-drawn characters and plot twists to keep you guessing. I found myself pleasantly intrigued by unpredictable action; it kept me glued to the story until I had finished the book. The ending is quite satisfying. No cheap thrills, just solid writing.
This book really kept me on the edge of my seat! What an exciting concept...cloning. From almost the beginning you know the end...or you think you do. Grant's clever use of time as he moves the reader from the past to the present and back again was highly effective in keeping the suspense at a high level. I'd recommend it to all my friends!!!

I am a voratious reader, and feel confident to recommend this novella.. I felt very connected to the characters from the beginning, and felt my afternoon's read, well worth it. Love the author's voice; different style made the book very enjoyable. Clever weaving of different strands to move the story to a satisfying conclusion...Learned some new words , too...
Very fun read! Keeps you guessing to the end. I bought this today and couldn't put it down. It is such an awesome plot! It kept me guessing throughout as to what was going to happen. I really enjoyed how the author wrote about the emotions of the main characters, the guy and his clone... or is it the clone and his guy? Ha ha ha I'll never tell. You'll have to read the book to find out.
I have now read two stories by Mr Grant Boshoff. He is to say, in a word, refreshing. I grew up reading what we called 'hard' science fiction back in the day. I read a lot from the Golden Age of Sci-Fi. When it was fresh and new. Grant's stories are like this. Fresh and new. Reminiscent of George O. Smith or A. E. van Vogt, Grant is the author that I have been searching for. Please, please keep writing.
Gripping story from the very start. Never lost it's momentum and was never predictable, as some flashback story lines can be. Well structured and never lost its continuity. The writing style reminded me slightly of Lee Child and kept my engaged as well as any Child book ever has. My only complaint is that it was over too fast. But, that is the secret to any performance. Always leave them wanting more.
Unique concept and story line. Dark and edgy. The mystery and intrigue kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put it down.

Wow! This story captured and held my attention - not just from the first page, but form the first line! Well written, awesome characters (that I could actually care about) excellent story telling. It moves right along and I literally couldn't put it down. I could see this becoming a SERIES of novels ... or a major motion picture! Definitely following this author form now on!
Unique story concept! And it's hard to find them these days. I could easily see this becoming a series. You get dropped right into the middle of the story and it is a very enjoyable read. Good mystery too!
