Wow! Just wow. This was a fabulous book based on a couple who had been married for 20 years and dealt with infidelity. Not only was the story realistic but if you are married or thinking about marriage, you learn about how to work on a marriage. I like that they had to work through their problems and that we got see parents being imoerefect. Very well written book and I hate to not hear more from the Styles/Franklin families. Read this book, you won’t regret it.

Oh this book!!!! It's stunning and amazing and I cannot stop thinking about it. Days later and I still have all of the feels. N.D. Jones had a way of taking this series and spinning and twisting it with angst, intrigue and romance. She did this so perfectly with Sean and Angie, holy wow this was a beautiful story, did an amazing job building this fast moving, complicated tale that spans decades filled with twist, turns and manipulation. It will grab you from page one and hold you hostage until the last. The need to know how this well tangled web of deceit and lies will all unfold was all encompassing. You will easily fall in love with these characters and find yourself rooting for them to find their way to their happily ever after no matter the obstacles thrown at them, and there were many.

Even though they have been background characters until now, I have loved Angie and Sean since the first book and was so excited that their story finally got told. For me, one word describes this book...Powerful! This book was so well written that I felt like I was living the events right along with characters. I completely lost myself in the emotional ups and downs that made up Angie and Sean and their road back to happily ever after. Hands down, this was one of the best second chance novels that I've had the pleasure to read. This entire series has been phenomenal! I'm going to miss the Styles-Franklins and truly enjoyed being part of their world. Outstanding series.

This is a wonderful, emotional story of betrayal, infidelity, hurt, anger, guilt, hope, redemption, and love. The characters were realistic, complex (like human beings are), and relatable. I liked the genuine depiction of the painful and bumpy road to recover from infidelity, and I cheered for the couple to succeed as they fought to save their marriage and remember what was important to them. I appreciated the open, even treatment. There are no villains in this story, just two people trying to find their way back to each other.

I love this series and this story was realistic and the characters are great and flawed. This the story of marriage, love, betrayal and second chances. This tale is about Angela and Sean Franklin and how they try to put their marriage back together after his infidelity. This story will grab you from the start and not let you go till the end. You feel the emotions that they are going through and want them to make it. Recieves a free copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This is a well written emotional story. Sean's confession of his extramarital activities shakes Angie to the core, while also affecting those who know them both. What occurs is a nuanced depiction of a marriage in the aftermath as Sean works to reclaim his wife's love and trust. This second chance story was enjoyable, though I don't normally believe in second chances when infidelity is the issue.

This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster dealing with infidelity and the aftermath of trying to put your life back together. The fight that Angie and Sean go through to come out the other end is heartwrenching, poignant, uplifging and so terrifying. Miss Jones has done it again producing characters with such depth and resilience you want them to be your neighbours and friends. Pick up the book - you won't regret it!
