I love how the story goes like sci-fi, suspense and surprising! It was totally not like the ordinary. Unique type of story that you are looking forward for more! While I'm reading it, I can't stop but to feel it page by page. I so much love the story! Great! Highly recommended.
The author did a great job at plotting the characters and flow of the story. I really had a great time reading it cover to cover. There was something about the characters that made them feel so real. Reading through pages makes me feel as if I was right there with them, the author brought me into another dimension where I was sitting and seeing everything unfold in my eyes. The book had something so captivating that captured my attention right from the first few pages hooking me and leaving me intrigued until the end. I'd hate to giveaway anything because it'd be a shame to put a great book in a complete waste. However this book is definitely worth every minute reading. Two thumbs up for the author!
This is a wonderfully original and imaginative story that really keeps you guessing. It's actually pretty difficult to say much without giving the story away and completely ruining the book for other readers but I will say that it's well written with great characters that are very believable in their actions and reactions. While the story moves along at a reasonable pace, enough time is taken to set the scene and introduce the various characters. Their aims and motivations are made clear through the use of descriptive writing and clever dialogue which flows well and doesn't feel stilted. All in all I would definitely recommend this book and am looking forward to reading more and hopefully having some unanswered questions addressed.
Ok, let me take a breath and give a spoiler free synopsis:
Identical twins Cat and Kay are taken away from their impoverished parents and taken to nefarious, government run school where they are taught at a super advanced level. Though identical twins, Cat and Kay are separated - not by choice - and set down two very different paths. Kay, the compliant, emotional one, is just trying to fit in and not live in her sister's shadow. Cat, the feisty, intelligent one, gains notoriety for her mind, though the means that she does this leave open the door to a lot of questions about the school.
Is this school really for the good of mankind, or does it have a darker purpose?
This book is a rollercoaster that left me wanting more. I have so many questions.
What is the real purpose of the school?
What is the purpose of the experiments that they are doing on the children?
Why is Cat being surveilled?
What did they do to Cat's family?
What happened to Charlie?
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Give this book a shot. I know that you'll enjoy it.
