The Richmond Exchange tells the story of a young U.S. Army lieutenant who is assigned to counterintelligence work during the American Civil War. Though inexperienced, he uncovers a plot by Confederate leaders to kidnap President Lincoln and bring down the United States government. But his superiors refuse to believe he has uncovered anything of substance and his enemies in Washington’s Confederate underground, aware of what he has discovered, are trying to kill him. Convinced he MUST act, he ignores the advice of his superiors and tries to avoid his Rebel enemies, while determined to save Abraham Lincoln and the Union.\t
