Themes include superheroes, everyday misfortune undone, terrorism, government eavesdropping, good guys/bad guys, a hijacking and a kidnapping, friendship, doing right and much, much more. The way in which these themes interact holds the readers’ interest because there are so many realistic touch-points all of us relate to. Yes, the story may be fictional but the message is real…that in life we cycle through discovery, learning, adapting, overcoming, and preparing for bigger things to come. The big picture is that the way we conduct ourselves does count.
