A timely and poignant story based in Colorado. A commuter on a bus to Boulder from Denver becomes involved in a horrific wreck a month after the 9/11 attacks in New York. It is a powerful story with interesting characters. Rich sub-plots add to the depth of the well-written story. Rhythm of the Stone is a short novelette, good for a rainy afternoon.
