If you look up the word 'Deaf' in the dictionary, you'll see that it has two definitions: Partially or wholly deprived of the sense of hearing; and second, refusing to listen, heed, or be persuaded; unreasonable or unyielding. Unfortunately for Adrian Pope, he personifies both definitions of the word. After his convoy is overturned in Afghanistan by an explosive device, Adrian loses his hearing and suffers a severe case of PTSD. We catch up with him two years after his accident and witness his journey as he battles his alter ego and suicidal thoughts, while trying to find some meaning in the new prison of silence he's been sentenced to.
